Originally from Waterford, Alan has spent over 30 years in technology starting in Germany then nearly 24 years just in Tax and accounting software in Australia. In 2015, based on demand from several accounting firms, his mentor who is also his accountant & friend recommended that he start a business and so established Practice Connections Advisory. Today he provides independent and technology agnostic advice to firms large and small around the world in areas such as practice management, workflow, tax, document management and reporting solutions options.
