 With increased protectionism, sanctions and an unsettled global trade landscape, customs and trade matters are moving to the top of many companies' agendas. Added to this are other factors closer to home: the continuing uncertainty around Brexit, an increased focus on compliance and the rise of environmental taxes and reporting obligations. In short, companies need to be proactive in understanding the implications of these issues in order to future proof their supply chains and overall business.

In this session Paul Rodgers cover the following topics;

  • The uncertain global landscape: trade disputes, sanctions
  • Brexit and the Windsor Framework
  • An increase in customs and trade audits in Ireland
  • Environmental measures
  • How companies should navigate the current global trade environment
