Colm is a Chartered Accountant and Registered Insolvency Practitioner with 10+ years’ experience specialising in restructuring and insolvency and financial advisory engagements across Ireland and Australia.
He supports a broad range of clients (including financial institutions, large corporate groups and SMEs and government agencies) and has a diverse range of experience including corporate insolvency, independent accountant reports, pre-lending reviews, informal wind-downs, debt advisory, restructuring / turnaround services and commercial / investment advice.
Colm has significant experience and a particular focus on advising companies and directors of their statutory obligations and duties to protect their personal positions in insolvency scenarios and formulating workable solutions for companies facing financial difficulty. Colm has lead a number of SCARP assignments and has acted as liquidator in both solvent and insolvent liquidations.
In addition to the above, Colm also advises secured creditors in SCARP processes, companies in financial difficulty and options analysis in insolvency scenarios.
Colm has assisted early stage development and established companies in sectors including, amongst others, construction and real estate, insurance, professional services, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, distribution and retail.
